CERT Class Schedule

We collect names of people desiring CERT training in a Wait List. When that list becomes large enough to warrant a class (we like our class sizes to be between 20 and 35 people), we schedule up a class and notify everyone on the list. Classes usually will start at 6:00 PM and last for about 2.5 hours, maybe more if the instructor gets long winded or the students ask a lot of questions. Specifics on the class location will be emailed to those signed up for the class.

Although some classes are scheduled for a specific group (Home Owners Associations, Community Watch Groups, businessess, etc.) , there are sometimes empty seats that individuals may use to attend a class. If so, we pick up the number of people off the Wait List that we can accomodate and they can get trained with the group.

If you need to make up a missed class session or wish to be placed on the "Wait List" for a future class, please email the Madison County CERT Association here -> classes@madisoncountycert.org. Please include in your email your name, email, phone, and whether you wish to attend the entire class or which Session you wish to attend to complete your training. We will add you to the appropriate List and let you know when the next class gets scheduled.

Once we get enough people to say that they are coming to the training and schedule the class, if we do not get a minimum of 15 attendees to show up then the class will be postponed.
